| One of the essential concepts Jeff Cooper recognized was the triad of D(iligencia) V(is) and C(eleritas); the Latin words for Accuracy, Power, and Speed. These concepts reflect that when you shoot you must hit your target accurately enough, quickly enough, and with enough power to shut down an opponent. One cannot focus exclusively on one of these components, they must be balanced with each other for success. It is my goal to build targets that reflect this need for DVC. Targets must demand accuracy standards that reflect anatomical realities. Targets must require significant force, often multiple hits, to neutralize. Finally, targets must encourage shooters to neutralize them as quickly as possible by posing a realistic threat.
